That was the question posed by talent agency powerhouse Creative Artists Agency (home to Tom Hanks and Julia Roberts) three years ago to Steve Ellis, a former rock guitarist and entrepreneur who had sold his online music licensing company Pump Audio to Getty Images.
Together, they enlisted Amazon, Comcast and other investors to join together for Who Say, a way for celebrities to take control of their images — to, as Ellis says, band together to make their own kind of digital magazine based on their content.
