With this internal conflict, Michonne, perhaps to a fault, too easily falls in love with men she interacts with.Her true self is further repressed each time her lovers meet their fates, despite Michonne knowing full well how short life can be in the new world.

Lady Death, sometimes referred to simply as Death, is a Marvel Comics super-being and the personification of death: although she is seldom seen and rarely speaks she has been known to manipulate and interfere with mortals on a few occassions: amongst her would-be-lovers are Thanos and Walker - to Thanos she "mothered" the anomaly known as Rot and the two teamed up to destroy this offspring before it could devour the universe.
